The Constitution Gets a Lobby
Think America is sinking and all is lost?
THINK AGAIN. ALL Americans who want constitutional governance and the Rule of Law
restored in our States and across our Nation can FINALLY COME TOGETHER, apart from the
electoral process, to get us back on track by holding government accountable, intelligently,
rationally, professionally, peacefully and legally.
It is ALREADY HAPPENING. For the first time in history, citizens in Connecticut, New York,
Iowa and Nebraska have established a Constitution Lobby for their state, with citizens in 23 other
states planning to follow. Soon, every state will have its own Constitution Lobby capable of serving
the needs of its People and will also be able to come together with other states as a MASSIVE
NATIONAL LOBBY FOR LIBERTY, uniting millions of Americans in defense of our federal and state
Constitutions.
WHAT WOULD AMERICA BE LIKE IF WE THE PEOPLE CAN MAKE THIS
HAPPEN? THE MOST POSITIVE OUTCOMES WE CAN IMAGINE:
A permanent institution of, by and for The People established in each State, as a non-political, not-forprofit
Constitution Lobby, for the purpose of HOLDING all elected OFFICIALS ACCOUNTABLE to the
Rule of Law, from our U.S. and state Constitutions, down to our City Charters and Town Ordinances.
While wholly independent, The Constitution Lobby of each state will share incorporating principles, by-laws and
standards of operation with the other states.
The Constitution Lobby will have “CONSTITUTIONAL MONITORS” – citizens with a passion for Liberty –
trained, paid a stipend and located across the state to monitor government behavior according to our
CHARTERS OF FREEDOM, the governing documents which tell them what they can and cannot do. Monitors
will interact with a CITIZEN VIGILANCE CENTER established in every capital city, staffed with
CONSTITUTIONAL ATTORNEYS.
The Constitution Lobby will give the People the organization, power and resources to do whatever is
necessary to keep elected officials within the boundaries we have drawn around their power.
The Lobby will avoid all political issues and questions. It will rally People around our Creator-endowed,
Absolute Rights, i.e. Life, Liberty, Property and the Pursuit of Happiness, rather than the promises and
assurances of men. Candidates for office will be watching the activities of the Lobby and the responsiveness of
current office holders.
Cost & Benefits
Once established, the cost to be a member of YOUR Constitution Lobby is $25 per year. The goal
is 5% of your state’s population as members. You’ll get:
a Citizen Vigilance Center in your state capitol with constitutional attorneys/legal staff;
1,240 constitutional monitors across the State - government watch-dogs - keeping an eye
on elected/appointed officials at all levels, federal/state/local - we’ll train them;
all working strictly for you and me.
Together, we will regain constitutional governance – the rule of law.
What can YOU do? Go to www.givemeliberty.org and see if your state has a contact person. If
not, step up! Hand out this flyer to everyone you know. Spread the word. NOW is the time. We
must make our maximum effort to protect all that America stands for, not only for us, but for future
generations yet unborn, who will live for the words: "WE ARE FREE.”
