… I am 70 years old… Come from a Southern heritage and I am proud of it… The slogan for my site is “Southern Pride NOT Hatred”. My family is from old Virginia where many served in the 37^th Virginia (the Stonewall Brigade) and Texas. They were farmers, NOT slave owners. Over my working years I spent about 15 in the newspaper and publishing business… I have been a Chamber of Commerce Manager, Chief Administrative Assistant to a California Assemblyman Matthew G. Martinez… Served on two City Commissions including several years on Jack Fenton's 51^st Assembly Crime Commission… I have been a reserve police officer as well as a reserve fireman both in the city and county where I lived… I am a Conservative/ Libertarian and fully support the Tea Party… I believe in less government and more individual responsibility… One of my favorite sayings is “your rights begin and end at my nose and toes”… I am a firm supporter of the Constitution particularly the 1^st and 2^nd Amendments… During all these years I have been an avid gun owner, photographer and writer… I am a member of the California Rifle and Pistol Association, life member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), and Professional Photographers of America (PPA)… I am a Mason and former member of the Lions Club.
