Be sure to pass it on to all on your list, including organizations. Hi folks: I talked to my Representative to day about impeachment of Obama. Call was prompted by Obama's announcement of amnesty of "YOUNG ILLEGALS". He-- of course--did not call it amnesty. Representative's District Director said best way to get it started was to contact the Chairman of the Judiciary committee. The order must come from him. SO---the plan of attack is as follows: 1) Use the phone no. and email below to let THE CHAIRMAN know we want impeachment to start. 2) Call your representative and let him know that A) you want impeachment to start B) inform him that you have already contacted the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee to start impeachment and he (your rep) should follow up As always---and most important in this case please send this to your contacts EXACTLY AS I HAVE IT HERE. Hate to see any errors slip in and we miss having calls & email miss directed. NO TIME TO WASTE----THE WANNABE DICTATOR MUST/SHALL GO. ( Obama cannot go around congress & violate The Constitution) FEED BACK ON THIS EFFORT IS REQUESTED. I don't disagree with much of what you say Quisno. One sheriff and state at a time restores the basics and that's what we have to get back to.

I live in the People's Republic of Alachua County Florida (a university town - home of the University of Florida) It's as liberal as you get and what they teach is garbage. When I was going to to the University I took a political science professor's class away from him (1977) because he was feeding garbage to heads full of mush about a subject that I had lived through. I kept interrupting him and he finally asked me if I wanted to finish the class - I took him up on his offer. He lost the rest of the class for the remainder of the semester as a result. Since I had no desire to continue my formal education (I have a BA in History and political science) I was acutely aware that what I did was a stop gap measure at best. I have since confirmed the indoctrination continues.

As I told you in response to your welcoming message upon my entry into this group, I am also a retired Criminal investigator for the public defender's office (20 years of making attorneys look over their shoulders was fun - it was also a lesson in how Constitutionally illiterate those attorneys are - made that way purposely by our law schools) To make this long story short, over that 20 years I developed very good and in some cases close relationships with the law enforcement personnel. While I'm not longer active in the legal system those relationships to a certain extent still exist so I alerted them to this organization and urged them to join since they are sworn officers. No luck.

I learned about Sheriff Mack through the Oath Keepers; that's why I'm here. The mindset in Alachua County is socialist. The county sheriff in no way shape or form represents what this Organization stands for with regard the Constitutional roll County Sheriffs are supposed to play in our society - simply said, there's little or no hope that "my sheriff" will go along with this program. The population and culture being what it is tells me what is, is not going to change which makes Alachua county like so many other places history records existed during the Revolutionary War where a minority did the work the majority should have done but refused to do.

I assume that since this is a "Sheriff's Blog"  a fair position of the participants are sworn officers. Sworn officers take an oath to support and defend the Constitution. I understand and accept divergent opinions on issues and what to do about them, but like Sheriff Mack, I believe the Constitution is the "ultimate" authority; political parties and their politics got us to this point in history. The 5000 year leap is a good source to study to provide guidance for those who are confused. I agree with Tim because at some point we all have to be on the same page - "It's the constitution dummy" (no pun or insult intended.)

I will vote for anyone who I believe will uphold his constitutional oath. In today's world that's a hard animal to find. I'm not against Libertarians - they have good ideas but a tad too liberal for me - their ideas sometimes run afoul of Constitutional Conservativism which I tend to identify with. I do agree the answer to the problem lays above ground where are feet are planted. Problem is, there's a lot of folks out there that are all talk, no action, or they are so tied to the Party line that they've become myrmidons.

You are also right about the State Constitutions - the 9th and 10th Amendments. I don't know how much time you've been spending watching the news, but the Supreme Court's decision on Arizona yesterday, and the majority of the people's acceptance of it, is one of the reasons the "Constitution" isn't working.  If you read the decision and the reasoning it's obvious that the intent is to weaken if not destroy the 10th Amendment, not by 3/4 vote of the states, but judicial dictate or fiat.

you may consider voting for the libertarian from New mexico his name is Gary -something- Jesse Ventura says hes a potentially good constitutional person.

But i must say this the republican abd democratic party are same. thats why i say vote and/or run for city or county positions get agenda 21 out ogf your state.  Yes Voting in the presidential election one time meant something now it amounts to which is the lessor evil.

Mark Barnes get together with your people in the state.  take your power back then you can fight the federal takeover. Now hundreds off millions of dollars of armored equipmwent are being given to law enforcement and The guards in your states .. Take your Republic back with enough you have the power. one person, one sheriff, one city, one county.one state at a time. upon seeing that you will protect your area those in the service will be propelled to take your side as they have family ,and most of them know..

Ahhhh ... Kinda feel like a cat in the middle of a bunch of dogs, dont'cha Roy? I live in Western NY, and I feel your pain brother!

But I think if you look closely you will find 'The silent majority' *steaming* in the background. I can not guarantee this of coarse, but if they are there I can tell you how to find them. Anyone who is self employed.  I do not mean the CEO of some huge local company, I am talking about small self motivated and self supported business people, like the guy that owns a local restaurant, a local auto repair shop, a local farmer, a local gas station. All of these people are under extreme pressure and that pressure has been increasing heavily lately. And they know damn well there is more pressure coming. There are literally hundreds of them in most towns.  Then once you are all on the same Constitutional page, show up to town board meetings in full membership and breath heavily down the necks of your elected officials.  If its really tough, hand out onions to your people before the meeting so your breath will curl their hair! (Figuratively). If they refuse to comply back someone else next election.  It is the number that show up at these town board meetings that run the town, all you gotta do is get everyone on the same page then put some pressure on these weak politicians ... if they are slippery like a wet water melon seed, then they will squirt right out the back door when you put your thumb on em, then you can elect someone with character.  If you guys are really dedicated you could probably put together a respectable group in six months in your town ... but it will take some serious hard work and dedication ... an ability you seem to have in great amounts based on your 'resume' Roy!

Got Constitution?  Jefferson thought you might need it ... Get it!

Dog is one way to describe it; rats is the way I look at it. Most of these people feel comfortable selling this country to the socialist utopia their politicians promise them. Since you live in New York, I really do feel your pain. I was born in Chicago, joined the navy and haven't been north of the Mason-Dixon line since. To be honest with you, I didn't think it possible folks like you existed in "New York." (Think Bloomberg and your current governor Cuomo)

I'm a Tea Party Member. Our Local Tea Party has to be Republican because Tea Party and Democrat doesn't mix. Since the Tea Party came into existence, we have tried to infiltrate and change the leadership of the RNC. To a degree we have some influence on the board but we haven't been able to take it over. The establish has a firm lid on the process and the entrenched elite (as it were) and the "Rules" keep the party machinery in the same hands.

Given the size and and complexity of Gainesville we've been fortunate to have the Tea Party Express come here twice this year. The last time they were here we had folks from all over North Florida come to participate. These folks aren't city slickers; they are hard wording Americans commonly referred to as "hicks" by "our betters" (you know - hard work, clinging to your guns and bible sort of folks.)

Anyway, you are right about angry folks. There's a lot of us folks who have spent a lot of time and energy to turn things around. However, one of the problems is the economy - you might remember the tea party rally's in Washington - thousands if not millions of people attended. Now everybody is broke; the one thing that keeps things going is the internet and our ability to communicate with one another and that, in the overall scheme of things, is the tragedy - most of the folks who are willing to do anything all live out of town.

Gainesville would not exist were it not for the University of Florida and taxpayer money. The city and county fathers are a bunch of liberals who hate business. Going to Gainesville today you see a ghost town. Private enterprise is out of business. While it's true a lot of those former business owners show up at tea party meetings and events, the simple fact of the matter there is too few of them to overcome the majority who just can't get enough of government.

The other thing that makes things difficult is government has found a way to make people suspicious of each other. It's like pulling teeth to engage some of these folks in a conversation. The level of trust we used to have as "neighbors" and "friends" is gone because neighborhoods were destroyed with busing and that sense of community went with it. Since the tax system required two people to work just to pay taxes, few people are at home during the day and when they are, they don't have the time or feel the need to be "neighborly."  So folks don't talk to each other.  In the part of the world if you are conservative, mention the Constitution or have other ideas you are a pariah because just about everyone around you is either on the dole or has their hands out. That's a tough nut to crack but since I believe "Can't never did anything" I keep trying.

I'm with ya Roy.  Keep the Faith. Things will get worse before they get better, but that will make the cream rise to the top.  When the US can no longer hand out free food and housing, and these upchucks you speak of begin breaking into houses to get stuff to sell for drugs, the low lifes will begin to rise up into the air, (not heavens) and be as clear as day. And the good people who are simply confused will stand beside you realizing that once you stop feeding the devil he becomes very angry ... and very visible.  Put on a shirt, dress pants and a tie and begin inviting people to a room in the local library to study the Constitution and you will find some very intelligent and dedicated people. Build your organization locally and stay the Hell out of Hell (Washington).  There is no reason for you to go there, it will accomplish nothing but burning your resources. Dig your fox hole, hunker down with your Bible and Constitution and keep your powder dry!  Keep the faith Bro, I have a meeting to go to ...

not to get way off the subject . this is as to his motives and Obamas purpose

http://youtu.be/vnJBW49afzg  heres christians trying to display signs peacefully in Dear born Michigan But the muslims will have none of it. i say they should have left before it got too radical. now we have deep division with no hopes of bringing that segment in.  There was a Sheriff there who did nothing except allow this to get out of hand. LOL they leave no stone unturned

Not a problem Quisno. Thanks for the link but I'm ahead of you. I watched the same video earlier this evening. I subscribe to and found the link in Western Journalism.

Why should any American who wants to get their message out leave so long as they are doing it peacefully? You're right about the law enforcement not doing anything about it.  You are also right that this fits right into Obama's motives and purposes. It's a divide and conquer thing. Keep us at each others throats and you can do just about anything you want to. In this case however, we're dealing with multiculturalism, the bane of E Pluribus Unum.

It's particularly galling to me that Muslims have special rights; it's also galling that Americans are either too stupid scared or politically correct to admit that Islam is a culture, political system and religion combined. If you read the Qua ran and know anything about western civilization that used to be taught, their goal is to conquer by the sword; they don't assimilate with anyone. History proves it but you have to know the history to understand it which is something public education does not  teach. There's no separation or church and state; it's one gigantic system and it's cruel by western standards. . Since they don't want to assimilate and meld into this culture, I'd be happy to see them and help them all go back where they came from.

The thought crossed my mind after I replied to this and other items that Americans might start paying attention to the term "Global economy." If history is any guide, the acceptance of this term represents a softening up process to get you used to "globalism" and ultimately the idea of a "New World Order" ruled by the UN. I mention this in light of the fact Obummer and his allies want to pass  the Law of the Sea Treaty, START and a bunch of other treaties which, if passed, will override our constitution and take away American Sovereignty.

Hi Roy. Just a thought on this Muslim thing.  There are surely people of the Muslim religion who quietly question the actions of their religion with Truth.  If the opportunity ever presents itself, ask this person questions about Truth. Do you like to see large numbers of people controlled by other people who claim to be with God? Do you like seeing someone beat to death in the street simply because they are confused, weak, or female? Is it OK to lie to someone gaining their trust so you can kill them? Or any other of a number of questions you could ask that would shine the Light on their acceptance of evils darkness. If you can save even one of these people , you will have done a great thing Roy! Easy? No. But lessor men would not be asked ...

You're right. There are.

However, Islam (Muslim culture/society/religion) never underwent the reformation the Christian religion experience  admits that we, as individuals, are capable of making our own religious, cultural and other decisions - not the church.

If you read the qua ran and know the history, my previous statement is accurate. Simply said, their culture, religion or whatever does not allow freedom of thought or compromise. Conquering by the sword is their history. The intent in this country and western Europe is the same. The difference here  here is they are using our Constitution and bill of rights to conquer from within peacefully until their numbers are sufficient enough, if necessary, to complete subjugation of western civilization by the sword. Their peace and co-existences parallels what's going on with the World Economy; say it often enough, get the people used to it, lull them into a sense of security and gradually get them to accept what the perpetrators of the grand desire.
