How can we as Citizens support and encourage our Sheriff?

Our Sheriff is an honorable man that respects and stands behind our Constitution. My question goes out to the many other counties across this state and the other 49 states that either they are unsure of their Sheriff's position or their Sheriff is doing his or her job surrounded by unconstitutional liberals.

Its a no brainer that a Sheriff must get weary of the constant battle and attacks from those who have chose to take a compromising view of how our great Nation should be run from the local level.

Hi. I think one good way to support constitutional sheriffs is to find one in your county. Perhaps it is the current Sheriff, or maybe not. Ask your sheriff if he /she have heard of "Sheriff's Macks Constitutional Posse"? If they has, ask if he/she supports the constitution and the liberties and freedom it guarantees. Then do your best to educate and offer our ligature and other of our information books and packets. If your local sheriff is not interested then start looking for a sheriff candidate who will. Then we should all come together and support that candidate in every way we can. As a group even if we do not live in a candidates district or state a lot can be done by phone, fax and computer to help get out his/her message to the voters who will elect their next sheriff.

I believe getting the sheriff to understand the proper role of the office of sheriff is one very important step, however, perhaps an even more critical piece to this is to get the people to understand what it is their sheriff can and should be doing for them. The sheriff works for the people, being voted in by the people. We all across this nation need to wake up the people and insist on our elected sheriff to do exactly what he swore by oath to do and that is to support and defend the constitution of this nation against all enemies foreign and domestic. Right now, the constitution is being destroyed by the current administration and justice system. Individually, we may not be able to have much effect to those in DC with deaf ears and blinded eyes, but in our own county, we can awaken the giant (the people), and draw a line in the sand to these tyrannical intrusions....and say NOT IN MY COUNTY.

We have a Constitutional Sheriff in this County. Only two attended the Vegas gathering from Michigan and this sheriff was not one of them. I have spoke to him and fully understand why. This County has been devastated financially. The Sheriff's office has a minimal budget to keep deputies and patrols on the road. The jail is defined by State law as a mandated service. Road patrols are considered a NON mandated service  and so there is little money to spread quite thin. Funding a trip to Vegas would quickly get turned into something other than what it is by the power of suggestion and appearances alone.  The Sheriff could not afford to fund it out of his own pocket due to family health issues that are serious. I think that if enough people had known about the Vegas event well in advance, then there may have been a chance for the private business people to step up and underwrite the cost of our Sheriff going but that did not happen.

I do wish that there might be some way of creating a list of documents placed on this website that could be printed out as a complete information packet, explaining about what is going on in our Country in detail, resources available, suggestions or action plans of what works and what does not created by other well known and respected Sheriffs across the Country.

We need to begin to put together action plans with the help of well grounded and respected Sheriffs to reach out to these other Sheriffs.
