County Sheriffs & Local Constitutional Militias Working Together?

With the extremely negative perception of the militias casting a negative social view on militias in general, How does one go about creating a local Citizen Defense Unit that is Constitutional and received in a welcomed positive light?

"It is better to have a plan and never have to implement it than to not have a plan, and then something goes wrong and you wish you had a plan".

We would like to create a "Constitutional Militia Defense Plan" that includes Citizen platoons of five, twelve  person squads and command and support structure in as many local communities within the County as possible. We would then like to begin to double that in each of those communities if possible. We want our Sheriff to be at peace and find confidence in knowing what we are doing and not create worry and question about the legitimacy of a plan such as this.

Are there any militias out there that  are Constitutionally solid and that the Sheriff is working in the know with these militias?

I would like to get in contact with some solid militia people of good reputation    and a Sheriff or two that have a good relationship with local militia that we could replicate what they are doing here in our area.

Can anyone offer us information of what they are doing in their area or respond with their experiences?

militia is a nice word.  Are you members of committees of safety and practice them there?   for the power lies with you at the  bottom and is your true constitutional power along  With  the COS as participating groups.  each county should have one with the capital county having the most power. As  set up in Massachusettes in the 1760's

I'm new and have a question concerning this topic. Although I think the idea is brilliant, as some have agreed, I wonder about it's implementation in a country that is being run by a President and Congress that is operating so far outside the Constitution, with absolutely no consequences for doing so, that those things which they do are not even questioned, not to mention rarely, if ever, see media attention. What will "they" do concerning militias that "they" have not already attempted to do with Sheriff's. Most know about the tragic event  concerning T.J. Ready and his family, what will constitute such an event to repeat itself with any of us? It's not my intent to instill any fear as I'm convinced everyone is very cautious and aware from one degree or another what woe may pops its ugly head up but what can be done or is being done about the perils we face with just the government leadership, for the lack of a better word, that may confront us for these simple, patriotic actions? Forgive what ignorance may be in this comment, it can be attributed to my novice status but nonetheless remains what I believe to be a formidable question. Anyone?

We have to be Constitutional in everything we do.  That's the way we will keep lawful!  Again I refer to Switzerland's ready preparation for fighting against tyranny taking over their country.  Over a certain age they have 2 months of training each year!  That is why Hitler didn't go there.  The only way to overcome your enemy is to keep them scared of you!  I'm 75, so you younger people take over.  I'll recruite for you.

Dont forget the real elector here is the Electorial College. And Ron paul is using it well on the Republican side. Lots to say here. In Idaho we are working to get the meaning of the word peoples power into the publics mind. TPP Idaho is 10thousand strong and growingWe are presenting 3 sheriffs in surrounding counties in southern idaho.

With that said You must all realise that  our states legiislators are using Agenda 21 proceedures ALEC is premier, and we havent much time.

Here is an idea I posted once, but didn't  get any response yet. Our Sheriffs can have a volunteer posse, maybe the number could be 100 or so. There could be groups of 10 with a leader of each group. We could buy our own uniform, and train  under the Sheriff once per month or so. If there is a need for help, the Sheriff could call up how ever many group leaders he needs. Just the uniform sometimes makes a big different in deterring a bad situation. That group could also be a militia on their own time if  it  is not a conflict, and  I don't know that it would be.

Here is why what you, and I want to do is so important.

If M. Savage is right, Obama just stole the election by outsourcing the counting to an electronic firm from spain. They will merge electronically all the states and there will then be no way to recount or challenge the 11 million possible illegal votes (e-verify says there are more like 30 million now). I guess that's why he was so confident with telling the Russian president he would stop our missile defense system after he winns the election. That  firm is  also owned by one of his larger contributers. Hopefully people will find the facts out for sure and make him look even more illigetimate and dishonest. Now we know why he protects the illegals so dilligently, and arrests any border patrol who really does his job. His Soros regime is starting to put Russia to shame.
