An Article 5 Amendment Convention is bad and very dangerous. It takes 34 states to sign on to cause a Constitutional Convention.  When this happens they already have a Constitution ready to substitute for our existing Constitution. Congress choses the method for ratification. It can be 3/4 state legislation or 3/4 State Convention. Congress will pick the method that the delegates are picked. This is being pushed by American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), Friends of Article 5 and 10th Amendment for Freedom. We just went  through this in Arkansas and was able to kill it in Committee. ALEC was behind the movement in Arkansas. If you run down ALEC you will see they are connected to a lot of left group organizations. The groups pushing this is distorting the facts and it is a complete fraud. Don't fall for this. In most cases the Republicans are pushing this. They have bought the lie.  Work against the Con-Con. Resend all previous calls for a Con-Con. If our country is broken and our elected officials refuse to follow the Constitution what do you propose we do? In the Declaration of Indendence it clearly states that it is the right and the duty to alter or abolish our government if it becomes the author of tyranny. The Constitution is the rulebook and allowing one of its branches to interpret the rules is like allowing the a defensive back to judge whether or not has commiitted pass interference. Allowing the Supreme to judge the Constitutionality of legislation is like asking the fox to guard the henhouse.

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that the Constitution is working. I hate to inform you that you have a fear that the Constitution which has been dead and buried would be jeopardized by a Article V Convention. Our government is out of control and it is the people that need to fix the problem or kiss their life, liberty and property goodbye. Desperate time demand desperate actions. The founding fathers had the guts and courage to risk everything to achieve independence and today we would rather maintain the status quo than risk the restoration of our liberty.

The framers of the Constitution knew that our Republic would gradually be stolen from us if we were not vigilant and their fears have been realized. The politicians have re-written the Constitution giving them the authority to violate the Constitution whenever it gets in their way. Because of the fraud committed by those that own and operate the voting machines we can not vote out the ciiminals.

The American Colonists had the courage to fight for liberty while many of their contemporaries preferred security to liberty. Today we have many people like yourself that think that it is a bad idea to promote the provisions of Article V. Those that fear the people consequences of adhering to the Constitution are hypocrits. Once the number of states petition for a Convention is met, Congress shall call for an Article V Convention. Every one of the 50 states has submitted a request and Congress has willfully chosen to ignore the Constitutional mandate to call for a Convention to amend the Constitution.

Many well intended Patriots are paralyzed by fear and are unwiliing to obey the Constitution remedy provided to us in Article V. The only ones that benefit from not having a convention are those that will benefit from the perpetuating the status quo.

We just went through this in Arkansas and was able to kill the Article 5 Amendment Convention Bill in committee. The problem with the Con-Con is nothing is set up on how everything would be ratified. With a Con-Con you will not be able to restrict the Con-Con to a single issue. It will be a runaway convention. The new constitution has already been written.
